A concrete mixing plant is a device that mixes concrete. The specifications of the mixing plant are named according to the size of the discharge, for example: HZS120 means 120 cubic meters per hour of discharge. Common specifications of mixing plants are: HZS25, HZS35, HZS50, HZS60, HZS75, HZS90, HZS120, HZS150, HZS180, HZS240 and so on.
The selection of a concrete mixing plant depends on the size of the project, the time requirement of the project schedule, the requirements of the concrete needed and the characteristics of the concrete production. It also depends on the structure form of the batching station, the feeding method and the convenience of maintenance.
The structure form of the batching station can be divided into two types: steel structure and steel-concrete structure. The steel structure batching station uses ground batching, which is easy to maintain and drain, but it is difficult to feed and usually uses a loader or belt machine to feed. The steel-concrete structure batching station has a concrete structure silo and uses underground batching. It is easy to feed and insulate but difficult to maintain. It can use a loader, bulldozer or dump truck to feed directly.
The feeding method can be divided into two types: skip hoist type and belt conveyor type. The skip hoist type has a simple structure and low cost but low efficiency and limited capacity. It is suitable for small-scale projects with low requirements for concrete quality. The belt conveyor type has a high efficiency and large capacity but complex structure and high cost. It is suitable for large-scale projects with high requirements for concrete quality.
The convenience of maintenance mainly refers to whether it is easy to replace parts such as blades and liners when they are worn out or damaged. Some mixing plants have special designs that make it easy to replace these parts without affecting normal production.
Therefore, when choosing a concrete mixing plant, one should consider various factors comprehensively and choose according to one's own needs.
